Zana and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary with you folks three years ago and we came back for our 33rd this past week.

We had a wonderful time.  The staff was terrific with advice and the other guests became fast friends.

I put a new string on the guitar in the parlor and played Zana a song I wrote on our anniversary at breakfast.

Hello dearest Edith, Cant wait till we drop off the kids at grammys and come down for the best happy hour in the keys!!!!!!! greg has taken piano lessons, he wants to play lady in red on thursday night. Dice up the cheddar edith were coming down!!!!

We stayed with you for 10 days back in 1996 and haven’t stopped talking about our visit. We were across the street in the newer units and loved the hot tubs, the ambiance of key west and of our hosts, Al and Edith. I have proudly recommended you to several friends who are fortunate to vacation in the keys frequently. Hope to return soon!!

We have just completed a vacation stay at the beautiful historic curry mansion (oct 12-16 2005). We have traveled throughout the usa for business and vacation for many years. We have never received the complimentary amenities and services anywhere before that we received here. A welcoming staff, cleanliness of all facilities, daily breakfast (full), daily cocktail hours, discounts on area attractions and wonderful guests from all over the world. Congratulations and our sincere gratitude for a wonderful stay.

Over the years I have told friends, etc., going to the Keys, to be sure and visit/or stay at the Curry Mansion.
A side note. When Kinfolks became available, I ordered an extra copy and gave it to the Cocoa Historical Library.

My wife and I just came back from a two day visit to Key West and the Curry Mansion Inn. Let me take a minute or two of your time to give an honest assessment.
1st - The Mansion itself is beautiful. Take the time to go exploring all around. The upstairs billiard room was my personal favorite, although the formal dining room really appealed to my wife. It’s like going back in time to another era.
2nd - Our room was perfectly adequate in size, clean, well maintained and NICE AND COOL. We stayed at the James House, which is actually across the street from the main mansion… but you’re not missing anything by staying there. It may in fact, be a little more “secluded”.
3rd - All the staff were friendly, without being intrusive. Housekeeping was prompt, never a problem.
4th - The free breakfast was really nice. Generous made-to-order omelets, along with an assortment of juices, bagels, fruit, etc. I should mention though, one of the BEST things about the breakfasts (and the happy hour… see below) was the fellowship / camaradarie of the other guests. We met some really nice folks during our stay, and greatly enjoyed their company.
5th - Happy Hour. Included in your room rate is a nice open bar Happy Hour / Mixer… yes, you’ll see your friends from breakfast. Live music (piano) at this time. It’s a self-serve party with quite a selection of fine liquors and mixers set up. Beer and sodas are also available for free. You’ll want to stop by to “prime the pump” prior to hitting Duval St. and other nearby areas.
6th - Location. This is about as good as it gets. You are perhaps 50yds from Duval St., toward the Mallory Square end. EASY walking distance to all the best of Key West. Also, parking was free on site, and while I’m not sure I could park a full-sized HUMMER in there, I didn’t have any problem with my Acura. This location is VERY CONVIENIENT.
I suppose that’s it. My wife and I found our stay totally enjoyable, and I’m certain to make many return visits to the Curry Mansion Inn..


We stayed at the Curry Inn for three nights, my husband did not want to leave! This inn has all the ameneties of visiting a old aunts lovely home. There is a wonderful breakfast spread in the morning with eggs made to order by a wonderful morning person Frank. Along with eggs any way you want them there are bagels, several different cream cheeses, juices, bacon, saugage. If you know anything about Key West you know eating out can hit the pocket book. Imagine the lovely experience of walking down a courtyard to have breakfast immediately made for you. Special. Not only is there breakfast there is happy hour free open bar with snack from 5-7 with a super piano man named Bob. The rooms are spotless and cool. You are literal around the corner from Duval street and a couple of short blocks from the seaport. It is the most relaxing place an osais in the hustle of Key Wests madness. The staff is super and will help you book activities. Loved this place so much, can’t wait to go back. Thank you staff of Curry Mansion Inn.

We would like to say thank you for an absolutely fantastic stay at The Curry Mansion Inn. We had planned to stay for only two nights but as we fell in love with the place our stay got extended to four nights instead. We will be back! Kristina and Menno from Denmark!!!

We were married 2 years ago and came to Key West on our honeymoon. We saw The Curry Mansion while we were there and wished then we had stayed there. We can’t wait to arrive at your wonderful B&B. I know we will have the time of our lives. We have reservations May2 thru May7. Cai’t wait to arrive!!!

we are coming to stay next may ‘04 for our wedding in key west! we toured the mansion & the staff was very friendly. in fact that was the reason we chose the curry mansion to stay in next year for our wedding! we’re looking forward to our stay!

I stayed at the mansion in the early 90’s and had a wonderful time.The Amsterdams were wonderful hosts,showed me photos of their property up north, and had some great stories to tell…I only wish that you had included photos of the billiard room with all the Louis Vuitton luggage and old clothes,that was my favorite room that I fell asleep in…am moving back to Florida very soon and plan on visiting, hope to find everyone in good health. What a fabulous B & B! We made a last minute reservation heading down south to Key West and were most impressed! The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are perfect. In walking distance to the heart of Key West- (Duval Street) I could not have wanted anything else. Thank you for an unbelievanle, romantic getawy for my boyfriend and my little dog! Yes they allow small pets! It was truly a wonderful place….

I am coming to the mansion in two weeks and look forward to my stay. The mansion looks absolutely beautiful!

What a spectacular place! My boyfriend surprised me with a weekend getaway to the Curry Mansion Inn. He proposed that weekend and staying at the Inn was the most wonderful experience of my life. The hospitality was phenomenal and the cleanliness was impeccable. Thank you for such a lovely stay. We will never forget it.

Can’t wait to get there for our first visit! I’ve been outside and can’t wait to get inside!

We had our honeymoon here in 1993, and WE LOVED IT!!! We had a wonderful time and I would recommend this place to EVERYONE. It is easy to find and a short walk to anywhere you could possibly want to go on the island. We used to come to Key West all the time, now we have moved from FL, but I can say WE WILL BE BACK!!

My best friend and I came down for Christmas last year, and had the most wonderful time. The people, the food, the mansion,Oh! It was beautiful and the mansion is convenient to everything.We didn’t drive once.What an amazing treat. Thank-you.

My wife and I had a room in the addition surrounding the pool in 1990. The room was 2nd floor, top of stairs closest to Mansion on far left of addition. We are considering a return visit and would like to stay in the same room. What room should we request??

It’s my first day back to work after spending a week at your beautiful mansion. My body is back, but my heart is still there. This was our second visit and it won’t be our last. The room was comfortable, the food was excellent, and everyone there was so helpful and courteous. The weather was beautiful, with sunny skies and temperatures in the 80’s. It was a welcome change from the cold and snow we left behind. The whole experience was so restful and relaxing. The only sad part was learning of the passing of Mr. Amsterdam since our last visit. He was such a nice man, and a joy to talk to during breakfast and the cocktail hour. We missed him.

We visited Key West Oct. 2000. While driving around and being tiered of searching for a nice place to spend the night we were very lucky finding Curry Mansion Inn!!!
We loved staying in your beautiful location. We never felt such an atmosphere being away from home. We are looking forward to spend some more of these wonderful moments with you . Meanwhile we still have our memories. All the best Bettina + Manuel

Missing the warm weather.

Our first trip to Key West 3 or 4 years ago. We were staying at the Pier House and weren`t very happy with the accomodations. We had gotten to know some of the locals one of them worked for sebago and told us that if it was him he would stay at the Curry Mansion. It was good advice we left the Pier House the next day and been coming to the Curry Mansion every since.

My husband and I admired the mansion on our 1st visit to Key West for 4th of July 2001…we can’t wait to return and stay in your beautiful Inn!!!

always we had a wonderful time. Last year, we
spent our honeymoon there and this year we were

We visited the Curry Mansion in September 1996 as guests of Bruce. We had a FABULOUS time. The mansion is very elegantly appointed and comfortable accomodations. The mansion is conveniently located to all the sights. Mr. Al Amsterdam was very courteous and friendly. Our children (four!) were most welcome. Would definatly recommend checking out the Curry Mansion.

We stayed at your lovely Inn Thanksgiving Weekend. We have no family where we live & was made to feel very welcome at your place. We loved the social gathering around the pool & the breakfast the next morn. The room was homey, furnished w/ antiques & wicker. Quite a romantic feeling. We shall be back very soon.

We just returned from an 8 day stay at the Curry Mansion and it was Fabulous.The accomodations were wonderful and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Our Honeymoon was wonderful! The entire mansion was very impressive, your service very personable and the location is outstanding. It will live in our memories forever.

Your Inn was highly recommended by friends, so we came down during the last week of September 2000. What a GREAT time we had! The Inn was more than we hoped it would be, our room was beautiful, breakfast by the pool was delicious and the piano player at the cocktail party is a nice touch. All the staff at the Curry Inn were extremely helpful in planning our days on Key West. (I highly recommend renting a scooter for a day, dinner a Cafe de’ Artiste, and daily sunsets.)

My wife and I really had a wonderful time at your Inn, one will remember foundly for many year to come….thanks !

We were married at the Curry Mansion Inn on May 2, 1992. It was Kentucky Derby Day. We had our ceremony on the second floor overlooking Caroline Street, surrounded by palms and beautiful blooming plants. The staff was wonderful and attentive and made us feel very special. Immediately following our ceremony, we joined other guests and staff to watch the Kentucky Derby and drink mint juleps. Since, I am from the same town as the Amsterdams, Mrs. Amsterdam made Philadelphia style cinnamin buns to awaken us from our honeymoon slumber the next morning. There were many other personal touches that added to the charm of this fabulous inn. We hope to visit again this year. We highly recommend a stay! Sincerely, Kurt & Mallena Urban

We just returned from a wonderful visit at Curry Mansion. We were on our honeymoon and could not have picked a better place to stay. Everyone was very nice and the place is beautiful. The “Happy Hours” by the pool were great. We will definitelymake Curry Mansion our Anniversary location. Thanks again to everyone, can’t wait until June 24, 2001 for our 1 year anniversary visit.
