We always leave feeling refreshed and having had a lot a fun. The Curry is centrally located in Old Town Key West yet it is quiet. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfasts are delicious. Our favorite part of visiting the Curry Mansion is the Happy Hours. They have musicians appetizers and a full bar every evening. We ended up meeting many wonderful friends at the cocktail hours. It is with very mixed emotions that we won’t be staying at the Curry Mansion as much. We ended up buying a house in Key West. I am sure we will be there for Happy Hours and any fund raisers. Thank you Edith and Suzanne you run a wonderful Guest House! Guest: Michael and Maddie Hamilton: The Curry Mansion Inn is our home away from home. We found it online in 1998-our first visit to Key West-and return every year for at least two visits. We wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else. We love Key West and the Inn is a big part of what makes us so happy to be on the island. The rooms-the staff (especially Suzanne!)-the breakfast-the happy hour-the pool-everything is wonderful!! Every year since we met we have exchanged out timeshare for Ft. Lauderdale. Last year we took a shot and rented a car and drove to Key West. We had no place to stay and asked someone where we could try. They suggested Caroline Street. The first place we came to was of course, The Mansion. I fell in love with it and went in side. Being August and our honeymoon, Susanne gave us a great rate and we moved into the Honeymoon Room….It was so beautiful….We met so many other newlyweds and returning anniversary couples. And everyone is so right about the “Happy Hour” being the best. We never had so much fun with so many people we didn’t know in our lives..Then we would walk to the “Sunset” and then off to dancing and dining at Sloppy Joe’s and on through the night. Then it starts all over the next day after the best breakfast in town. We met Judy and Don from Fla. and a couple from England and another from Or. My wife and I just came back from a two day visit to Key West and the Curry Mansion Inn. Let me take a minute or two of your time to give an honest assessment.
1st - The Mansion itself is beautiful. Take the time to go exploring all around. The upstairs billiard room was my personal favorite, although the formal dining room really appealed to my wife. It’s like going back in time to another era.
2nd - Our room was perfectly adequate in size, clean, well maintained and NICE AND COOL. We stayed at the James House, which is actually across the street from the main mansion… but you’re not missing anything by staying there. It may in fact, be a little more “secluded”.
3rd - All the staff were friendly, without being intrusive. Housekeeping was prompt, never a problem.
4th - The free breakfast was really nice. Generous made-to-order omelets, along with an assortment of juices, bagels, fruit, etc. I should mention though, one of the BEST things about the breakfasts (and the happy hour… see below) was the fellowship / camaradarie of the other guests. We met some really nice folks during our stay, and greatly enjoyed their company.
5th - Happy Hour. Included in your room rate is a nice open bar Happy Hour / Mixer… yes, you’ll see your friends from breakfast. Live music (piano) at this time. It’s a self-serve party with quite a selection of fine liquors and mixers set up. Beer and sodas are also available for free. You’ll want to stop by to “prime the pump” prior to hitting Duval St. and other nearby areas.
6th - Location. This is about as good as it gets. You are perhaps 50yds from Duval St., toward the Mallory Square end. EASY walking distance to all the best of Key West. Also, parking was free on site, and while I’m not sure I could park a full-sized HUMMER in there, I didn’t have any problem with my Acura. This location is VERY CONVIENIENT.
I suppose that’s it. My wife and I found our stay totally enjoyable, and I’m certain to make many return visits to the Curry Mansion Inn..

Guest: Monte & Donna Jones: We stayed at the Curry Inn for three nights, my husband did not want to leave! This inn has all the ameneties of visiting a old aunts lovely home. There is a wonderful breakfast spread in the morning with eggs made to order by a wonderful morning person Frank. Along with eggs any way you want them there are bagels, several different cream cheeses, juices, bacon, saugage. If you know anything about Key West you know eating out can hit the pocket book. Imagine the lovely experience of walking down a courtyard to have breakfast immediately made for you. Special. Not only is there breakfast there is happy hour free open bar with snack from 5-7 with a super piano man named Bob. The rooms are spotless and cool. You are literal around the corner from Duval street and a couple of short blocks from the seaport. It is the most relaxing place an osais in the hustle of Key Wests madness. The staff is super and will help you book activities. Loved this place so much, can’t wait to go back. Thank you staff of Curry Mansion Inn.

What we liked most about the Curry Mansion was the location to Duvall Street. We could walk a few feet and be on Duvall in a minute. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We were able to park in the Mansion’s parking lot so that was also very convenient for us. Only improvement I could see is to “beef up” the happy hour with more appetizers. The Inn was more than we hoped it would be, our room was beautiful, breakfast by the pool was delicious and the piano player at the cocktail party is a nice touch. All the staff at the Curry Inn were extremely helpful in planning our days on Key West. (I highly recommend renting a scooter for a day, dinner a Cafe de’ Artiste, and daily sunsets.)

My wife and I really had a wonderful time at your Inn, one will remember foundly for many year to come….thanks !

Everyone there was so friendly, in fact, we were treated like family. We looked forwarded to the 5:00 P.M. cocktails, and enjoyed the piano each evening. Guest: Kurt & Mallena Urban: We were married at the Curry Mansion Inn on May 2, 1992. It was Kentucky Derby Day. We had our ceremony on the second floor overlooking Caroline Street, surrounded by palms and beautiful blooming plants. The staff was wonderful and attentive and made us feel very special. Immediately following our ceremony, we joined other guests and staff to watch the Kentucky Derby and drink mint juleps. Since, I am from the same town as the Amsterdams, Mrs. Amsterdam made Philadelphia style cinnamin buns to awaken us from our honeymoon slumber the next morning. Guest: Joe & Theresa: We will be celebrating our 14th anniversary next week. For the past five years, we have stayed at the Curry Mansion for 3 or 4 days for our anniversary celebration. We always stay in the same room. It is a wonderful place to stay, so many extras, like the nightly cocktail party with open bar, wonderful piano music nightly, breakfast on the patio, with different items daily, large guest rooms, large private bathrooms, tastefully furnished. You can park your car on the property and walk to everything. It is very safe, laid back, Curry Mansion has a wonderful, helpful staff, it is barrier free, you can go into mansion anytime. I could go on and on…..Curry Mansion is the best!!!!!!!
