French Room
This front parlor room is filled with Serves porcelain china with ormolu mounts (worked brass handles). Many of the ornate figured pieces are Dresden, and the oil lamps are from the Meissen factory there. The fish set in the case is by Theodore Havilland. All of the windowsills in the house are hinged, and the shutters are on tracks and can be stored beneath the sills.
